Ba Duan Jin is a qigong exercise I do as a warm-up before practicing Tai Chi. Qigong is "a system of coordinated body-posture and movement, breathing, and meditation with roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy and martial arts." (by Wikipedia) Like Tai Chi, it involves a series of slow movements, mild stretching and breathing.
It consists of 8 forms and takes about 15 minutes. This short exercise refreshes you both physically and mentally, and is easy to be incorporated in your busy life.
